Solar Outburst / Micronova Theory

Annual tree rings and ice cores record abrupt cosmogenic-radionuclide production events. Multiradionuclide evidence supports a solar energetic-particle origin for the 774/775 and 993/994 events, whose particle fluence is inferred from proxies rather than directly measured; these events do not demonstrate a solar micronova. That is not the same as evidence for a recurring solar micronova. Annual tree rings and ice cores record abrupt cosmogenic-radionuclide production events. Multiradionuclide evidence supports a solar energetic-particle origin for the 774/775 and 993/994 events, whose particle fluence is inferred from proxies rather than directly measured; these events do not demonstrate a solar micronova. That is not the same as evidence for a recurring solar micronova. In astrophysics, the term micronova refers to localized thermonuclear bursts observed on accreting magnetic white dwarfs, not ordinary Sun-like stars. The modern catastrophe version usually combines real solar physics, geomagnetic reversal fears, Younger Dryas catastrophe theories, Atlantis or lost-civilization narratives, and creator-driven claims about 12,000-year cycles. The strongest evidence supports extreme solar storms as a real natural hazard.
